The Knight icon Knight is the first playable character, being unlocked at the start of the game. He wears silver armor with an orange bandana scarf.

He can also be encountered during a run as an NPC. When talked to, he will give the player a random weapon of any rarity.


Knight is unlocked from the beginning. You don't have to pay anything to play him.


  • "Elite Knight" - Cost: 2,000 gems
  • "Lava Knight" - Unlocked by sharing a poster with this skin to social media
    • This skin does not bob his head.
  • "Chinese New Year" - Cost: 5,000 gems
    • This was the default skin during Chinese New Year.
  • "Mr. Popcorn" - Cost: Unknown
    • This is probably a reserved skin for game testing.
  • "Fusion Core" - Cost: 12,000 gems
    • The Knight will be hovering when skill is activated.

Knight has one of the highest health of all characters. He is hard to kill and his energy is average, which makes him perfect for starting players. However, his damage output depends solely on his weapon, and he has no way to evade damage and relies only on his tankiness to stay alive which makes him less preferred for higher difficulties.

Each upgrade changes the stats slightly.

  1. +1 HP - cost: 500 gems
  2. +1 Armour - cost: 1,000 gems
  3. +20 Energy - cost: 1,500 gems
  4. -2s Skill cooldown - cost: 2,000 gems
  5. Skill Upgrade - cost: 2,500 gems
  6. "No extra damage is taken when the shield is depleted." buff - cost: 5,000 gems
  7. Enhance Starting Weapon - cost 8,000 gems

Basic
Use two guns for a short duration.
  • The Knight will bring out a second copy of the current weapon for skill period. During the duration, each attack will use both weapons with a minor time difference, and spend twice the amount of energy.
    • The time difference can be spotted in situation of fast-enough kills. For example, using a fully-charged bow with first arrow killing an enemy in melee range will cause the second arrow to attack another enemy far away.
    • For some weapons with mode changes (Varkolyn Assault Rifle alike), using the skill will bring out the second copy in default mode, regardless of the current mode in use.
  • During skill duration, the basic melee attack will also be performed twice.
  • The cooldown starts after the skill ends. Switching weapons will end the skill immediately.
    • The skill will still end when you tap to switch weapons even if you only have one.
    • If the weapon is in charging when the skill period ends, one of the weapons will fire immediately (if possible) and then disappear.
  • This skill also applies to multiplayer rings with inner cooldowns. For example, using Green Ring with Dual Wield will consume 30 energy and heal 2 for both players.
Skill Upgrade
Increase skill duration (after every kill).
  • While in Dual Wield, every kill extends the duration of the ability by 1 second. If you are in Badass Mode and you get enough kills the ability can even last twice as long.
  • Kills got when the ability is on cooldown do not speed it up.
